The Kia Forte is back and completely redesigned for the 2019 model year. With the redesign comes numerous changes and upgrades that drivers are sure to enjoy. We’ve broken down the differences between the 2019 Kia Forte vs the 2018 Kia Forte.

When paired with the all-new Intelligent Variable Transmission system, the EPA estimates the fuel economy of the 2019 Forte to be 31 miles per gallon for city driving, 41 miles per gallon for highway travel and 35 miles per gallon for combined city/highway travel. The 2018 Kia Forte, in comparison, received EPA fuel economy ratings of 29 miles per gallon for city travel, 37 miles per gallon of highway travel and 32 miles per gallon for combined city/highway travel.

2019 Kia Forte Premium Audio System & Features

The 2019 Kia Forte is available in four trim levels: FE, LXS, S and EX. The 2018 Kia Forte only had three sedan trims: LX, S and EX. A limited Launch Edition will be available in fall of 2018 with a unique exterior design and standard technology upgrades.

In terms of entertainment options, the 2019 Kia Forte has received some great upgrades. While Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were available for most 2018 Kia Forte trims, both services are standard features for the 2019 Kia Forte. Also available for the 2019 Forte is a Harman Kardon premium audio system with eight speakers.

2019 Kia Forte safety features include: Front and rear crumple zones, child seat anchors, side-impact door beams, an engine immobilizer, rear door child safety locks, a tire pressure monitoring system, vehicle stability management and ignition key removal automatic door unlock.
